SKI HIRE
If you wish to hire a surfski for the event we suggest you contact KayakHQ and/or the Nelson Surfski Club.

PRIZES
Performance prizes will be for the 3-fastest women, 3-fastest men and 3-fastest mixed doubles. There will be spot prizes that all paddlers can win.

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS
Postponement due to COVID-19
If the event is not able to proceed due to ongoing restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the event will be postponed to a later date in 2024, there are no refunds if entrant cannot make it to the event at the new postponed date. Entrants should take this into consideration when entering.
Entry Refunds and Cancellations
Entry cancellations can be made up until 11:59pm January 17th 2025, a refund (less 25% administration fee) will be made. Refunds will not be given after this date. If the event has to be cancelled due to weather conditions or natural disasters or any other valid reason so deemed by the organisers, the event will be rescheduled and no refunds will be issued.
Insurance
Insurance is the responsibility of the competitors
Liability Indemnity
By entering the event you are agreeing to the event liability waiver.

WEATHER
Closer to the event entrants will be updated with weather information and if there are any route changes. The back up courses start and finish at Kaiteriteri Beach.
Water Temperature in January is 18-20 degrees
